A Rear Window View From Porto

Typically whilst on holiday on our last night in Porto, we came across an amazing cafe/restaurant/bar. It was hidden on the top floor of an old art deco building. The bottom floor was a garage with a multi storey car park above. It’s doorway on the street was not obvious and even while climbing the many stairs we were still not convinced that we were in the right building.

Anyway we were, and besides the amazing food and view of the city the building itself had classic art deco features, and perfect cracked windows, from which I was able to capture details of the street and the people.

Some of these images were inspired by the photographer and artist Saul Leiter whose work I really like. These images focus on a mixture of street photography ,abstract art, colour and reflections.

Have a gander and check out Vicios a Mesa when in Porto, you won’t be disappointed.

This way …Really ?
